DAV I-snake is a family of smooth tube exchangers designed to be used as cold storage battery. Made with specific materials and geometries, the coils are injected with refrigerant gases and immersed in water to create circular ice crowns around the pipes. Ice can be made at night or during off-peak hours when electricity is in low demand and cheaper, and then used at peak demands. This means the installation of lower power refrigerating machines which will have lower purchase, use and maintenance costs. Typical applications of DAV I-snake are production processes and large conditioning systems An exclusive Dav Coil's manufacturing procedure creates coils by bending finned tubes instead of welding U-return bends, which reduces possible leakages and cracks.
The technical staff of DAV COIL is able to design heat exchangers according to customer needs, using sophisticated computerized calculation systems.
