ABOUT

This type of exchanger is positioned on the market between plate exchangers and shell and tube exchangers "Shell & tube". Cheaper than the latter, can withstand much higher pressures than first option. This makes the DAV Coax usable in many applications, especially as evaporators or condensers of combustible gases, process or in refrigeration systems to produce either cold or hot water (also with new HCFC refrigerants).

Thanks to its shape, it can be easily housed inside refrigeration machines being possible, for example, to fit a liquid receiver or other components in the annular space inside the spiral.
