When it comes to the HVAC sector (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) the first thought goes to the construction sector. Born in this field and developed by civil engineering to address large-scale problems (skyscrapers, airports, increasingly large shopping centers), HVAC systems have also spread to the industrial sector (climatization and air purification inside factories), to urban complexes (district heating and district cooling systems), to extend very quickly to the aeronautical, automotive, railway and, in general, transport industries.
