What is now called Dav Coil S.r.l is a company that originated in 1969 as a sole proprietorship thanks to the resourcefulness of its founder Giovanni Zancanaro.
It has always been located in Valpolicella, a vast area in the province of Verona famous throughout the world for the production of Amarone wine, it began as an artisan company for the production of finned tubes, at the time used particularly in the avian and agricultural worlds, and then moved into the world of heat exchangers, which over the years became increasingly efficient, reliable and robust, optimised for transferring energy between gases, liquids and solids.
In 1994, when the company was already present in various European sectors and markets, the important transformation into a limited company took place, with the name DAVID CO. Srl in honour of Maestro Davide Begalli, Giovanni's grandfather, a musician and composer of renown in Verona.
The first ISO 9001 certification is obtained in 2000.
In 2004 the name change to the current and definitive DAV COIL SRL.
In 2008 the production of pillow plates and heat exchangers made with this innovative technology begins, to overcome the limitations of exchangers made with smooth tubes.
